Can't leave Jaz out. I whipped this one up late last night. She wore it to school today. No matching top though. I was too tired. *gasp* A plain white shirt will have to do!

Ms. Melissa was getting rid of some of her fabric a few weeks ago and I gladly took some off her hands. This is what I made out of it. It's a two layer skirt with a peasant top. I shirred the top with elastic thread. I LOVE how it turned out. Now Jaz wants one. :)

Girl Scout cookies

are going to be the death of me!!!! Sigh.....they were selling cookies outside of walmart this morning. I tried to resist the temptation....I failed....miserably. I know have 4 boxes in my freezer. It's for a good cause right? :)

Has seen his shadow. 6 more weeks of winter. Maybe that will give me enough time to catch up on all the sewing projects I've got going before spring hits. Ya right! Not enough hours in the day. LOL

The time has come

Yup, the time has come. I went out tonight and got myself a job. Although I consider myself to be rather thrifty and can sometimes get 101 pennies out of a dollar, I just can't make it stretch any farther. So I am now employed by a store at the mall, part time, nights and some weekends. 20-25 hours a week. I'll honestly say it's going to be a great break to get to talk to some adults and not have to hear why Curious George is doing something for the 20th time. :) I love my children to pieces but every now and then I need some adult conversation. :) Now to just raid the closet and find something solid white or solid black to wear. Hmmm, wonder if it will be ok if I have fruit loops on my shirt??? LOLOLOLOLOLOL

A day early. :) We had a great time at supper tonight! I'm glad that you were able to celebrate a great birthday. Although we should have been sewing....it is friday night afterall!!! LOL Guess I'll let it slide just this once. Hope the doggies and kitties let you sleep in tomorrow. You can wait till noon to see if the groundhog sees his shadow. :)
