As if I have time for even more on my ever so busy plate! Yesterday was my birthday and I spent the day playing around in photoshop and discovering the joys of digital scrapbooking. I think I'm hooked!!!

I've taught her well

The next door neighbors are having a garage sale this morning. Jacey saw them setting up. I quickly scanned over things as I took Jaz to school. I didn't think there was anything there that we needed. So when I got back from taking Jaz to school I was greeted at the door by Ms. Jacey.

"Momma, can we go to that garage sale?"

"I don't think so sweety. They don't have anything that we need"

"But MOM!!!!! I LLLOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE garage sales!!!"

ROFL!!!!!

I've taught her well haven't I? :D

Congratulations!!!!

Go out to Uncle Brad. :) He's getting married!!!!!!!!! He asked and she said yes!!! Rob has the priviledge of being the best man. He's very honored. Brad was the best man at our wedding almost 8 years ago. And of course he needs a flower girl. I told him he could have his pick of 3 but I think the honor will go to his goddaughter Jaz. So it looks like the big day is scheduled for next June back home in ND. I'm so very excited and happy for Uncle Brad. The girls can't wait to see him again. :)

Theft!

One of the mommies on a board I frequent shared this with us and I feel it's important enough to pass onto all of you in bloggerland.

Theft Problem IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

You ' ve heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.

My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else ' s thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans. And then the thieves struck again.

My butt was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I ' d have to give up my jeans in favor of long skirts.

Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was
really getting scary - my body was being replaced one section at a time. What could they do to me
next?

When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided to tell my story. Women of the world, wake up and smell the coffee! Those ' plastic ' surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts -stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something ' lifted ' , look again - was it lifted from you?

THIS IS NOT A HOAX. This is happening to women everywhere every night. WARN YOUR FRIENDS!

P.S. Last year I thought some one had stolen my Boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.

LOL!!!!! ROFL!!!!!! :D

spring cleaning

Like many of you, I go through moods from time to time. :) This time the mood is to get rid of junk. I'm so tired of having a cluttered house and not having a place to put everything. So I decided to start getting rid of stuff. We thought about having a garage sale but after the last one, decided that it was too much work. LOL So I started to pack things up and off to goodwill they will go. I get one bag done and stick it in the car. Get another bag done and stick that one in the car. So far the entire back hatch is full of clothes that the girls have outgrown and other misc baby supplies, and I'm working on filling up the back seat as well. I'm halfway there. Oh and lets not forget the umpteen bags of clothes that have that one pesky stain on them or are just so far out of fashion that no one in their right mind will wear them. Yup, those all went in the trash. I can't even count the number of bags that went in the trash. It feels good though to get rid of things and have a semi normal closet that you can actually walk into and not get swallowed up in. Next project is to organanize and purge my sewing/crafting supplies. Sigh......that one might take awhile.

Long time no blog

Yes, I've been a terrible blogger these last few weeks. I apologize to all my faithful readers. I'll try to sum it all up in this one post for you. It's the end of the school year and that brings on a frenzy of activities. Jaz has 9 more days of school and then she's officially a 4th grader! Gosh I feel old!!! When did she get so big?? Who gave her permission to grow up?!?!? She is super excited. We're still waiting the results of her Math TAKS test but I'm confident that she passed with flying colors. I'm trying to keep the girls busy this summer but now I'm wondering if I've got them TOO busy. LOL Jaz is signed up for the enrichment camp, and then she goes onto a cheer camp, then 2 weeks in swimming lessons. I tried to get her signed up for a pottery class that she wanted but I just wasn't quick enough because it's full already. Jacey is signed up for 2 weeks worth of swimming lessons too. I was going to sign her up for gymnastics too but all the classes are full. Plus, she can go jump on the trampoline and have the same amount of fun. :) Lets see what else do we have planned for this summer? Another weekend trip to Dallas, a weeklong conference for daddy, 4th of July, a possible trip to Nebraska, and hopefully a few camping trips thrown in there somewhere too. Speaking of weekend trips to Dallas, we just got back from one. My mom is training for a new job and they sent her to the Dallas area to train for 6 weeks!!!! We had lots of fun. We ate lots, did lots of shopping and I can't wait to go back. Miss you mom!!! The girls had a great time. I'm sure that there were a few people cursing us though with all the crying Ms. P was doing. She did NOT want to go to sleep! I'm really glad that the girls got to spend some more time with gran. They ususally only get to see her once a year so this was a great treat for them. They've been constantly asking me when are we going back MOM!!!! Soon, girls, very soon. :) I've got pictures to upload, but I just haven't had any time to get it done. So be looking for some new pics very soon.

Note to self.....

When making coffee, make sure to put coffee in the coffee pot otherwise you will end up with plain hot water in you coffee cup. That makes for a sad, sad cup of coffee.

Newest obsession

This shout out goes to Ms. Cindy Lou Who who gave Jazmin a pink webkinz pony for being on the honor roll and getting her name in the paper. Jaz wants to give you a big, big THANK YOU!!!! You're so sweet to do that for her. She made up a card for you that I'll have to give to Jodi when we see her on friday. Jazmin is totally lovin the webkinz craze! She spent 4 hours!! (yes 4 hours!) on the computer while I was at work the other night playin and decorating her room, answering trivia questions, doing math problems.......she was having sooo much fun!! She's now counting her pennies to see when she can buy another one. :)

Time to brag .....

....on Jazmin. :) She got a paper sent home today that is inviting her to an enrichment camp this summer. It's inviting high achievers and students with an inquisitive mind who show leadership and have an appreciation of learning. I asked if anyone else in her class was going and she said only 3 other kids got the invitation! So only the top 4 kids in the class get to go. WTG JAZ!!!! May have to sign her up for the G & T program after all. :)

THAT SMELL!!!!!

The yuckies are still making their rounds over here. Now Jaz has it. Poor thing was up all night making friends with the porcelain. She stayed home from school today and hopefully she'll get over it real soon. She's got a field trip planned for wednesday and she'll be real upset if she can't go. Phoenix is still sick. At least it's not being thrown up anymore.......just the other more toxic end. Daddy thinks he's getting sick too. He's got a queazy stomach. And have I mentioned the smell? Ya, all you moms out there know exactly what smell I'm talking about. The lovely aroma of throw up mixed with the hershey squirts all rolled into one. YUMMY! I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of it! I think I'm on load 5 of washing clothes this morning. Sigh.....at least I'm not sick.......yet!

Happy Birthday x 2

Today is the birthday of two of my greatest pals. Melissa and Sandy. They weren't born the same year but they share the same date. I am truely blessed to have them in my life. :) I hope you ladies have a great day!!! I'll see ya soon!
