Jacey don't hit your baby sister on the head with a bat!!!!!........
Jacey get off the high chair.........
Jacey don't pull your sisters fingers off,......

Sigh.......pretty soon that baby sister is gonna grow up and take that bat away from you and retaliate!

Learned something new today

Yup, that's right. I learned something new today. I learned that you can vacuum out your washing machine. LOL Jacey was sick last night and got sick all over her bed. So that meant that I had to wash her bedding. Sheets, pillows, blankies, stuffed animals.....the whole 9 yards. Well, note to self..... Don't wash a pillow that has all those tiny micro beads in them. They rip in the wash and get all over EVERYTHING!!!!! Oh, simple fix I think. Take the pillow out, throw it away, and rewash what's in the washer. Nope.....doesn't work. I actually tried 3 times....yup, three times! So I had to take everything out of the washer, take it outside, shake it off, and bring it back inside. Now what to do with the million little beads in the bottom of the washer? Grab the vaccuum and get busy! So I got all the beads that I could see. We'll see how long beads will keep showing up in the laundry. Sigh..... Never a dull moment around here!

Scrapbook pics

I forgot to include these pics in the last post. I debated if I should post them or not since this is going to be someones Christmas present. Oh well. Just pretend to act suprised when you get it. LOL :) You should be able to click on the pictures to see bigger images.

Our fair entries

We finally got our things back from the fair today. Anyone who has never entered the fair before, I highly recommend it next year. Jaz scored $10 and Rob and I earned $3 and $4. In addition to that we also received 5 free tickets for gate admission. So in all, we received $67. Not too shabby. Ok.....onto the pictures. Jazmin got 2 first place and 2 second place ribbons as well as 2 participation ribbons. I got first for my scrapbook, and third for my clock. Rob got first for his wood carving. And we entered 5 pics in the photography section. Rob got an honorable mention on his Blaze picture. Now to start on entries for next years fair. Onto the pictures.....

Jaz's entries

Jaz's recycled indian drum
Jaz's tambourine
Jaz's Tink stepping stone

Jaz's ankle bracelet
Jaz's christmas paper dolls. All cut out by her on the cricut.

Jaz's halloween paper dolls. Again cut out by her on the cricut.

My clock

Rob's pics. This one called Blaze, got honorable mention. The pics look terrible since they're pictures of pictures. If you want to see them in all their glory go check out my flickr site. You can find it on the sidebar at the left.

Go ahead and start laughin

I always said that I hated blogs that had music on them. Ok, well hate is a strong word. I always found myself fumbling around for the volume control on the speakers. Ok, go ahead.....point fingers, poke fun......I caved. But I love this song.

Elvis has left the building.

We went to the fair last night. I sooooo love the fair. Fair food that is. There is something about the deep fried goodness that gets me every time. The cowboy taters, the cheese on a stick, the cowboy taters, the corndogs, the cowboy taters, the deep fried pickles. Have I mentioned the cowboy taters????? Mmmmm..... now I'm hungry again. :)

The main reason we went to the fair last night was to see how our entries did. Rob entered 5 photos and a wooden bark carving. I entered a scrapbook and a clock. Jaz entered two paper doll scenes, a stepping stone, an ankle bracelet, a drum and a tambourine. Everyone did quite well I think. Rob got an honorable mention on one of his photos and first place on his carving. I got first place on my scrapbook and 3rd on my clock. Jaz got 2 first place ribbons. One on her stepping stone and one on her halloween paper doll scene. She got second on her ankle bracelet and her christmas paper doll scene. She was so excited!!! She wants to enter more next year. Unfortunately I didn't take pics before we submitted our entries so you'll have to wait until next sunday when I get them back.

And of course we saw Elvis. (bursts into hysterical laughter) We went to see the hypnotist show. Rob got called up on stage along with 9 others to participate. Oh my goodness it was a riot!!!! He thought he was Elvis and started dancing around the stage. He had the footwork down, the voice and even a tush wiggle. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Oh how I love the fair!

Trolls?

That's the only explanation that I can come up with. We must have trolls that live in our house and come out at night. They steal homework out of backpacks and off of desks. They hide socks and everyones left shoe. Not to mention jackets!!!! Those trolls sure do get a workout in our house at night.

Banning cartwheels???

http://www.nowpublic.com/strange/australian-school-bans-cartwheels I was just contacted by someone who saw Jaz's picture in my flickr account of her doing a cartwheel. They wanted permission to use the photo in a news story. SURE!!!! :) Seems like a town in Austraila wants to ban kids from doing cartwheels and other gymnastics while at school because they might get hurt. OY!

Healing

My back is finally healing from that nasty burn I got over a week ago. No longer am I a scaly monster who is shedding it's skin. :) I can now wear appropriate undergarments and shirts! LOL I don't think I'll be making the mistake of missing my back with sunscreen for a long, long, long time!
